The Bull Hire business
began in 1980 by using our own home bred pedigree Hereford bulls but, as
we expanded this enterprise, other breeds were required.
To this end, we now hire about 25 Hereford, Aberdeen Angus, Limousin and Charolais bulls to suit both the dairy herds and the beef suckler sector.
The bulls are all pure bred or pedigree and many are requested year after year.
A complete service is provided for the hirer by delivering and collecting the bulls free of charge throughout Cornwall.
The terms depend on the number of
cows or heifers to run with the bull, e.g. up to 15 females to run with
the bull for 6 weeks costs £150 for a Hereford or Angus bull or £170
for the Continental bulls.
